Drylock Technologies will build its third factory in Brazil, and the brand's 11th worldwide, in Capivari, Sao Paulo. The first phase is scheduled for completion in 2026.
The new 30,000 square meter facility will be equipped with high-tech equipment and a distribution center, including 200,000 square meters, adjacent to several major highways in the state. The new facility will be twice the size of the other Capivari plant and is expected to be the Group's second largest facility worldwide, after the Group's flagship Drylock plant in the Czech Republic.The expansion comes at a time when Brazilian retailers and brands are gaining momentum. Recently, Drylock organized the first Retailer Branding workshop, which was attended by representatives of several large Latin American retail companies. Drylock entered the Brazilian market in 2018 with the acquisition of local hygiene brands Mardam and Capricho.
In addition, adhering to the principle of "innovation for environmental protection", the new plant project also includes a woodland owned by Drylock, similar to the woodland at the Group's plant in Segovia, Spain.At the beginning of this year, Drylock announced that it will further expand the Group's capacity in the United States by building a new diaper production site in North Carolina, which is the Group's 10th plant worldwide and will serve as the operations center for Drylock's diaper business in North America.
